MEIRA is a youth-led, non-partisan civic movement committed to building a more informed, inclusive, peaceful and accountable Manipur.
We believe that meaningful change begins with awareness, education and the courage to question. MEIRA exists to create a platform where young people and citizens can understand their constitutional rights, access reliable information, raise concerns, participate in public discussions and contribute to issues that shape their communities.
Through civic education, public awareness, community engagement, storytelling and evidence-based advocacy, MEIRA seeks to bridge the gap between citizens, institutions and public issues. We aim to make information accessible, amplify unheard voices and encourage informed, peaceful and constructive participation in democratic processes.
Rooted in the values of the Constitution of India, MEIRA stands for equality, justice, secularism, integrity, accountability and human dignity. We remain independent of political parties and electoral interests, welcoming people from every community, background and identity.
We believe young people are not merely the future of Manipur; they are an essential part of shaping its present.
Our vision is a Manipur where every individual is informed, every voice matters, every right is respected and every community has a place in shaping a shared future.
